About Mano Jayasekaran

Training and Specialties

Hi there, I’m Mano. I believe healing starts the moment we feel seen, heard, and known. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they courageously navigate difficult seasons in their lives, when they are feeling stuck or overwhelmed by sudden life transitions, or are struggling to navigate complex relationships as an individual, couple, or family. I support my clients in understanding the underlying reasons for their distress, and I help clients identify and replace any negative thoughts and behavioral patterns that contribute to struggles like anxiety and depression.

I earned my Master of Science degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of Elise Stark.

My Mission

I believe that healing and wholeness within can bring about healing in our interpersonal relationships. I incorporate an integrative, strengths-based, collaborative approach to explore practical steps and help clients in their journey toward flourishing. As an immigrant of Indian origin, I can deeply empathize with those who struggle with acculturation stress, self-esteem, sense of identity, and belonging.

Nothing gives me greater joy than to see my clients become the best version of themselves.

When I’m Not Doing Therapy

I enjoy cooking, going for long walks, and spending time with family and friends.
